Delve Into Endless Possibilities - A Guide to Delving in Path of Exile

Every 3 months Path of Exile releases a new League that brings new ways to play the game. The most recent, Delve, is a new endgame activity with its own unique mechanics. It's an infinite dungeon system that uses a resource called Voltaxic Sulphite to power it. Wilson explains it works a little differently than the old Endless Ledge.

Voltaxic Sulphite

Unless you are a dedicated delver, Sulphite is not a currency worth worrying too much about. In addition to its primary use as a craftable modifier (Light radius, Darkness resistance), it has some secondary uses as well.

From act four onwards, any zone instance can spawn three Sulphite caches for you to collect. Niko, Master of the Depths appears on these instances and harvests the Sulphite for you. This Sulphite is added to the total of each character in your party and the account. Sulphite Scarabs are relatively cheap and will always pay for themselves if you are doing high level delves. However, you should avoid Gilded Scarabs – they cost more and will only give a marginal extra amount of Sulphite per map.

Dark Side Fossils

Fossils are used to help players more deterministically craft items. They can block certain types of modifiers from rolling on an item, guarantee that specific modifiers will roll on an item and more!

Fossil can be crafted by smashing breakable rocks found in Glittering Cave. They can also be bought from former Gym Leader Lenora at the research facility in Nacrene City. Fossils are sold for 100G each.

They can be socketed into resonators to create an item with a specific set of mods. This can be a great way to get the best possible gear quickly and without relying on RNG. However, be aware that using a fossil + resonator on an item will reset the existing prefixes and suffixes on that item. Click here to get more information about Buy poe currency.

Voltaxic Generator

Creating and enhancing items in Path of Exile is an integral part of the game. These can range from increasing survivability with socketed mods to adding new abilities like destructive damage. There are a variety of ways to obtain these upgrades, including randomly with certain orbs and currency, and sometimes with the help of fixed vendor recipes, the Crafting Bench, or masters. The mine encampment is home to the Voltaxic Generator, where players can purchase upgrades to their dynamite charges. This allows them to destroy more fractured walls during each Delve.

The upgrade will also increase a player's maximum dynamite charge capacity, allowing them to delve more quickly. This can be expensive, however, and it's important to manage the cost of these upgrades. A player can check the price of each upgrade by examining the generator.

Hideouts

A hideout provides a safe place to practice your skills and hone your builds. It can also serve as a place to store your gear, making it convenient for players with limited gaming time or those who want to stay competitive in challenging leagues.

The most common PoE currency items include Silver Coins and Perandus Coins, which can be used to upgrade equipment or open portals to new areas. These items are obtainable from monster drops and can be found in all areas of Wraeclast. Another type of currency item is Exalted Orb, which can be used to enhance a piece of rare equipment with a new random affix. These orbs can be obtained from monster drops or by selling items to vendors. It is important to buy Exalted Orbs from reliable sellers to ensure that you get a fair price for your money.

Fractured Walls

Delving is one of the most profitable mechanics in Path of Exile and this guide will teach you everything you need to know to get started with it.

Some of the most valuable rewards in delve are hidden behind fractured walls, which can be difficult to find and destroy. These dark hidden areas will show up on your mini map if you are close enough, and hovering over them will display the wall’s health bar. Each fractured wall will require a single dynamite to destroy.

The best way to find a fractured wall is by looking for a node that doesn’t have any paths leading to it. There will always be at least one such node in grids that don’t contain checkpoints. Behind those walls, you will usually find rare loot containers and a hidden path to an inaccessible checkpoint.
